The public’s time is a precious commodity that should not be wasted.
The public should be given relevant background information, educated on key concepts, and presented a series of alternatives to base its decisions on. We use a systematic ballot and polling process to hear from individuals of all ages, income levels, and cultural/ethnic backgrounds, not just the outspoken few.
